Sapsis Rigging, Inc. provided rigging equipment and labor for the annual Crystal Ball at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City recently. The Ball, which takes place in the lobby areas of the Hospital at 100th street and Fifth Avenue, is attended by over 1,200 dignitaries and hospital benefactors. Sapsis Rigging has provided rigging equipment and labor for the Ball for more than 15 years.
The rigging equipment for this year’s Ball consisted of two self-climbing systems, two ground support units, over 1,000 feet of truss, and more than 60 chain hoists—and is truly a testament to just how much gear can fit into a very small location.
