DaVinci Fusion Teams With Paws To Guarantee A Howling Good Time

When you combine a great cause with animal lovers, throw in some celebrity guests, find a breathtaking space, and bring along your favorite event production company, you're guaranteed a successful event! The 20th anniversary celebration of the charity group Pets Are Wonderful Support (PAWS) was such an event. More than 350 compassionate supporters and community leaders gathered at San Francisco's magnificent landmark Bently Reserve Building for the event, entitled Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow.

PAWS is a pioneering volunteer-based organization which supports, educates, and advocates on behalf of low-income seniors and persons with HIV/AIDS and other disabling illnesses and their companion animals. To help with this success, DaVinci Fusion, a company of animal lovers, was on hand for technical production and décor.

Co-chaired by fashion icon Wilkes Bashford and Tails of Devotion author Emily Scott Pottruck, PAWS’ 20th anniversary gala benefit and auction featured a sit-down dinner, entertainment by The Phantom of the Opera star Lisa Vroman, and a live auction hosted by former San Francisco Mayor Willie L. Brown, Jr. The combination of an incredible sounding space, an entertainer like Vroman, and the commanding and charismatic presence of Mayor Brown made for a highly entertaining and engaging evening.

DaVinci Fusion lent its creative skills to ensure that everyone looked and sounded their best. Proper lighting, audio, and décor helped to put an exclamation mark on a perfect evening. “DaVinci Fusion has helped us with many of our events,” says PAWS development director, Henry Lucero. “They are great to work with and really responsive to our needs. We had some pretty bad experiences in the past with other companies but since we’ve teamed with DaVinci Fusion we’ve always had a pleasant experience. And DaVinci Fusion is able to work wonders in any space or environment—they really contributed to the fun and success of the evening!”

"We love being a part of something so important and such a great cause," comments DaVinci Fusion President Solomon Rosenzweig. "It's rewarding to see that people are volunteering and paying more attention to groups like PAWS."
