BlueWater Technologies Chooses Daktronics For NYIAS

BlueWater Technologies (BWT) of Southfield, MI recently selected Technique à Vue (TAV), Daktronics’ rental partner, to provide two 41-foot each PT-4 modular LED video displays for Chrysler LLC’s Dodge and Chrysler booths and preshow press conferences at the Javits Convention Center during the recent 2008 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) in New York City.

The Daktronics displays showed1080i HD footage and were used for the duration of the NYIAS to highlight new vehicles for 2009. “The PT-4 displays used in New York did a great job for our client,” says Bob Daniels, director of operations for BWT. “They went together fast and performed flawlessly for the duration of the show. The support we received from the Daktronics engineers on site and the entire team at Daktronics was first class.”

Throughout the unveiling of the 2009 Dodge Challenger the display was presenting the audience with close-up footage of skits depicting how the new Challenger redefines modern American muscle, company logos, virtual scenery, and live video. Daktronics V-Tour® controller and V-Link® 4500 video processor managed the displays.
