Backstage At The 88th Annual Academy Awards

The 88th annual Academy Awards on Sunday, February 28 at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre saw a number of firsts, from Leonardo DiCaprio’s Oscar win for Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in The Revenant to the most Swarovski crystals ever used in an Oscars set design. Hosted by Chris Rock, the star-studded—or should we say, Swarovski crystal-studded—event featured set design by Derek McLane, lighting design by Robert Dickinson and Robert Barnhart of Full Flood, and sound design by Pat Baltzell of Baltzell Audio Design. PRG provided the lighting, and ATK Audiotek supplied the sound equipment.
