DiGiCo spent more than a decade working with sound designers to develop a software package specific to live theatre sound reinforcement. Those efforts landed the SD7T console on many Broadway and West End productions. Now, that software is available as SD9T and SD10T versions, for the SD9 and SD10 consoles, respectively. Judges point to how the software specifically addresses issues of imaging as performers move around the stage, with one noting, "This software makes the SD9 and SD10 equal to the SD7 in programming capabilities," says one judge. "This software also makes these boards the absolute best choice for a desk for anyone mixing theatre at almost any budget." Another judge hails the Players function, which allows the sound engineer to deal more easily with cast changes. "DiGiCo has now officially rocked my world."
