Pyrotek Special Effects Inc. added an extra level of excitement to one of tennis’s top international tournaments this summer. The nine-day event showcased three prime time matches in which Pyrotek Special Effects provided outdoor fireworks consisting of 102 red comets with tail chase; 27 multi-shot comet boards; and 54 silver comets with tails.
Pyrotek Special Effects VP Lorenzo Cornacchia worked closely with event coordinators and says, “The Rogers Cup tournament is always an enjoyable event to be apart of every year. We implemented another new design to the fireworks display for the evening matches and it really added that exclamation mark for the match winners.”
Pyrotechnicians Tristan Ford and Kenneth MacDonald setup the effects and implemented the design.
