Avolites and Immersive got together for a strategic alliance that, after five years of development, resulted in the Ai Infinity 8 Server, now wholly owned by Avolites Media. This was a clear choice among our judges, a media server-savvy group. “It has an elegant timeline and 3D interface like d3, but with robust DMX control, and an ability to busk that is lacking in most of the major media servers,” says one of our judges, while another notes that he “recently trained on it, and it blew me away.” The servers were out on the first leg of Bon Jovi’s Because We Can: The Tour earlier this year, as part of the unconventional scenic automation and video control system. Another judge says, “This is what the rest of the servers will look like in five years.”
