MBox Projects On Moving Canvas For Mercedes Launch

For the world premiere of the 2014 Mercedes V-Class in Munich, Mbox used CAST BlackTrax realtime tracking to project visual designs onto a moving canvas. Working with OSK Agency, Mbox created a dynamic show where humans interact with technology in realtime during a choreographed dance where they constantly move modular props, such as cubes, triangles, and vertical panels, onto which the visuals are projected.

Mbox used 4x Full HD back projection on the 65' wide center stage screen, and 5x Full HD projection on the 20 modular props that were 3D-tracked with a customized BlackTrax tracking system in combination with the V4-based Mbox media server.

Gil Densham, President, CAST Group and Ash Nehru, Director of Software, d3 Technologies, sponsors of the Projection Master Classes.
