Dataton Watchout 6

Watchout version 6 multi-display software adds features for advanced projection mapping, multiple-source video playback, 3D media and modeling, and pre-visualization, with a new user interface. Rolled out by the company at ISE as the most significant upgrade in the software’s history, one of the main features is 3D Projector, which assists in programming and lining up complex 3D geometry projections. Workflow for 3D productions has been improved, and 3D models can be dragged straight into a show, as the software reads common 3D file formats such as 3DS, OBJ, and Collada. The new version supports high-end uncompressed formats such as V210 and Apple ProRes, and low-compression, high-performance HAP codecs, while also able to play uncompressed image sequences at full resolution and frame-rate from a fast hard-drive, removing the need for  encoding of 3D or After Effects renderings. Additional features include live edits, virtual displays, custom-blending masks, multichannel audio playback, frame-rate control, and a dynamic image server.
