Zygmont, Keller Join Furman Sound

Furman Sound, Inc. has appointed Casey Zygmont as vice president of sales and David Keller as vice president of business development and international sales.

Zygmont takes the reins of the Pro-Audio sales department with over 25 years of professional sales, management and marketing experience in the Pro-Audio technology industry. Previously Furman's national sales manager, Zygmont will now oversee all sales aspects of the company’s Pro-Audio division. He will also take a more active role in the marketing and advertising of Furman Sound’s AC power regulation and signal processing products.

Most recently, Keller was the president and CEO of Digital Envoy, a provider of online IP-address-based geographic intelligence since 2001. Prior to that, he served as COO of Indianapolis-based Escient where he worked with the family of TuneBase products, PowerPlay, and Gracenote, and Electronic Evolutions (formerly Tom Doherty, Inc.), combining the power of the Internet with the home entertainment, custom electronics, and consumer electronics industries.

Of the new hires, Furman's president and CEO James R. Bonfiglio, says, "David Keller brings years of leadership and proven executive success from a diverse background to Furman Sound. We are actively looking forward to great things to come with David on-board.

"Casey Zygmont has done a great job since coming to Furman Sound less than two years ago," Bonfiglio continues. "His track record in our Pro-Audio sales department led to his new appointment, and we’re confident that Casey’s ongoing contributions will continue to push Furman Sound’s technology into an industry-wide leadership position."
