WISEMAN NAMED PRESIDENT OF XL VIDEO TOURING

Production rental company XL Video has announced that industry veteran John Wiseman has been brought on as President of the Touring Division.

Effective October 1, Wiseman stepped onboard to provide new leadership for the American arm of XL Video. A key player in the popularization of automated stage lighting for the last twenty-five years, Wiseman will be responsible for developing and maintaining account relationships, and he will help facilitate the creative needs of production through XL’s custom fabrication work, media design capabilities and LED inventory.

Marcel DeKeyzer, CEO of XL Video comments that, “John's contacts, expertise, and reputation in the entertainment service industry are unparalleled. His experience in helping make visions come to life will be a valuable resource to all in the design world. We look forward to a very bright future with John; he is the final missing piece in our American operation!”

Wiseman adds, “My roots have been in the front lines of the rental business since the beginning. Over the past seven years in the manufacturing sector, I have enjoyed my role in bringing new technology to production companies, especially the opportunities I’ve had to work with designers and artists as a part of making a show appear on stage. I’ve missed not being on the ‘front lines’ of that creative process, and XL Video not only offers the chance for me to jump back in the forefront, but to do it with the most innovative video rental house in the world. XL Video deliver so much more than just an image; they make LED's into works of art that double as video displays!”

Wiseman joins video veterans Val Dauksts, Barbara Riedling, and Bob Magee to lead the concert touring charge from XLTV’s Los Angeles facility. In addition, he will work closely with Chris Mounsor and his team to form the only global concert touring video support company.
