US pro audio manufacturer Lectrosonics, Inc. has appointed industry veteran Karl Winkler as director of business development.
In this capacity, Winkler will oversee efforts to establish new markets and develop new products with the goal of continued growth and expansion of the company's industry presence. "Lectrosonics is a company I have respected for many years," said Winkler. "They've maintained an incredible reputation for innovative technology, exemplary customer service and a real commitment to quality. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of the team."
Prior to his post at Lectrosonics, Winkler was formerly brand manager for Neumann/USA, and most recently, business manager for pro audio products at Sennheiser Electronic Corp. He also has a background in sound reinforcement and recording, having worked with the US Air Force Band in Washington, DC and as an independent engineer in Los Angeles.
