Wildfire, the ultraviolet light manufacturer, and UV/FX, the production firm specializing in UV-based scenery and costumes, have formed a strategic alliance, in which UV/FX will handle all of Wildfire’s scenic design and production, while UV/FX will exclusively utilize Wildfire’s UV fixtures, lamps, and other creative materials on all of its projects.
The alliance reunites UV/FX president Richard Green and creative director Kent Mathieu with Wildfire, the company Green helped found in 1989.
According to John Berardi, VP of Wildfire, “Over the years, Wildfire has helped create some of the most dramatic ultraviolet scenic productions at destinations and events all around the world. Working with UV/FX, we will be able to expand our scope of services while continuing to create the innovative ultraviolet lighting systems that the industry has come to expect from us.”
Green added “UV/FX is excited about this arrangement, as we know firsthand how well Wildfire’s UV lighting productions bring ultraviolet scenic production to life. This alliance ensures that both firms will continue to provide their clients with the finest products and design capabilities on the market today.”
