Walton to Lecture at San Antonio's McNay Museum

Renowned set set designer Tony Walton will be giving a lecture at the Marion Koogler McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, TX on Dec. 2.

Walton, who received the first Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Lifetime Achievement in Theatrical Design in March, will present the Tobin Distinguished Lecture, "Now THAT'S a Set!" He will appear in conversation with Arnold Wengrow, contributing editor for Theatre Design & Technology magazine.

Walton, a famed theatre and film designer, has also created costumes and sets for ballet companies, as well as producing designs for posters and books. Walton has received an Oscar, Emmy, and three Tony Awards for his design work.
