Vista Systems Hires New Director Of Business Development

Brian Lewis has joined Vista Systems as director of business development. His focus will be centered on the company, its clients and the expanded use of Spyder into the fixed install market base with the intention of significantly growing the business.

“Brian’s experience in the display industry and his knowledge of
fixed installs are an ideal fit for where we find ourselves today,” says Bob Enright, Vista Systems’ general manager. “We haven’t fully explored high-end boardrooms, command-and-control rooms, and immersive visualization environments -- venues for which Spyder is uniquely suited. Brian will be able to take us in that very important direction.”

“I am very excited to be a part of the Vista team,” says Lewis. “It was apparent to me that Vista Systems is in possession of truly unique and unparalleled technology, and I look forward to implementing Spyder as the video processing solution for an ever-expanding market base. Being able to once again work with so many long-time industry friends is an added bonus.”

Lewis was director of strategic accounts at Panoram Technologies in
Burbank, CA, a virtual reality display firm; earlier he was Panoram’s
director of technical services and responsible for technical and
logistical functions involved with global deployment of large-scale
multi-projector visualization theaters.

From 1993 to 1998 Lewis was applications specialist for Electrohome
Projection Systems (now Christie Digital) in Ontario, CA. There he supported large-screen data graphics projectors for the world’s third-largest manufacturer of such systems and trained customers on the use and maintenance of CRT, LCD and DLP displays.

Vista Systems’ switchers provide live multiple-destination video and data mixed signal switching.
