Melissa Etheridge, Cher, and Tom Petty all hit the road this month with lighting packages that include Vari*Lite® fixtures. Automated lighting for each of the tours was provided by VLPS Los Angeles.
Melissa Etheridge (LD Wally Lees) is touring sheds, through September 2, with 40 VL2402s™, 30 VL6Cs™, 10 VL4s™, eight VL5s™, and eight VL6Bs™, controlled through a pair of Virtuoso™ consoles.
LD Abigail Rosen Holmes is putting 16 VL2402s and 36 VL2416s™ to work on Cher's arena tour, which kicked off June 14 at Toronto's Air Canada Centre and wraps up in September. Cyndi Lauper is also on the bill.
Legendary rocker Tom Petty (LD Jim Lenahan) will crisscross the country for the next six months with 25 VL5s, 20 VL4s, 20 VL6Cs, and 21 VL7Bs™.
