Two Vegas Vets Form Copper Creek Studios

John Saltonstall and Joe Schenk III, two veterans of the Las Vegas design and exhibit industry, have formed Copper Creek Studios, Inc., which will specialize in the creation and delivery of scenery, exhibit, and architectural elements for corporate events, trade shows, themed environments, and theatrical productions.

Saltonstall and Schenk, both formerly with Entolo Las Vegas, have set up shop in a 40,000 square ft.-plus production space. Saltonstall, has over 20 years of management and sales experience, and was formerly the director of corporate events for both MC2 Las Vegas and Entolo Las Vegas. “This is an exciting time for our industry, and I feel the time is right for a company with our diverse skill sets and strong management to take the lead," he says.

Schenk has over 15 years of project management and engineering experience. A native of Las Vegas and a third generation fabricator of scenery, exhibits and themed environments, Schenk was formerly the general manager of Entolo Las Vegas. He worked on many of the strip’s biggest themed projects, including Buccaneer Bay at Treasure Island, Caesar’s Magical Empire, The Bellagio Conservatory and Star Trek, The Experience. “In the last ten years, this town has had an incredible influx of fabrication and finishing talent. By tapping into this extensive talent pool, Copper Creek Studios will be able to deliver a first class product, anywhere in the world.”
