Terry White Exits NSI

After a quarter-century in the world of entertainment technology, Terry White, co-founder of NSI Corporation, is stepping down as vice-president of marketing and product development. Terry will be turning his attention to managing his personal investments, and spending more time with family.

White, along with two partners, founded NSI Corporation in 1986. After building the company into the dominant player in entertainment lighting control, they purchased the assets of the Colortran Company, and broadened their offering into the theatrical realm.

In 1999, NSI-Colortran was purchased by Leviton, joining the Leviton Lighting Control Division. White was actively involved in the business with Leviton as vice-president of marketing and product development.

White says, "My tenure at Leviton since the acquisition of NSI Corporation three years ago, has proven to be nothing less than a positive and rewarding experience. I have made life long friends and had the incredible opportunity of working with the professional team of individuals within the Leviton organization."

No word as of yet on White's replacement.
