Paradigm Shift Worldwide Event Marketing, an industry leader in the development and production of DVD-launch publicity events for major Hollywood studios, is pleased to announce the recruitment of Tammie Richards as its new director of event marketing. Paradigm Shift recently enjoyed a banner year by producing events for a broad slate of 2002 DVD titles including Spiderman, Scooby Doo, Ice Age, Back to the Future, and Lilo & Stitch. The company has tapped Richards to maximize its brand within the entertainment industry and expand the company's presence and effectiveness in new markets.
Recently departing from a 13-year stint with Entertainment Lighting Services, Inc. (ELS), Richards' professional experience brings a truly unique perspective to Paradigm's event marketing process. With a classical theatrical education, she acquired additional technical knowledge by working several years in themed entertainment for Six Flags California. From Six Flags, Richards joined ELS, where she honed her production skills with real-world experience in corporate and media events, rising to director of sales and marketing for the Los Angeles-based lighting company.
As a seasoned marketer, Richards is thrilled with the opportunity to return to her creative roots. "This position is the natural progression for my career," says Richards, "because it combines the fast pace and immediate gratification of live event production with the long-term goal of developing creative and effective marketing programs that will propel the company forward."
