Super Vision International Inc. (NASDAQ: SUPVA), the maker of fiber optic and LED lighting, has hired Robert A. Birchler as plant manager. Birchler has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, and material management. Prior to joining Super Vision, Birchler served as senior manager of process improvement for CHEP of Orlando, FL, a $750- million manufacturer of pallet and container equipment; he has also served with Tripoint Global Communications as operations manager for the company's manufacturing facility in Gastonia, NC.
Brett Kingstone, CEO of Super Vision commented, “Mr. Birchler brings a tremendous amount of cost reduction and profit improvement experience to Super Vision and his number-one goal is to increase the efficiency of our operations for the benefit of our customers and shareholders.” Birchler will started his full-time position effective January 1.
