Steve Terry exiting PRG, entering new phase at ETC

Production Resource Group L.L.C. (PRG) has announced that Steve Terry, president of Fourth Phase Systems Group, will leave the company on May 25th. Terry was one of the original owners of Production Arts, which was acquired by PRG in June 1998.

Terry is departing to assume the role of vice president of Professional Services at Electronic Theatre Controls.

Fourth Phase Systems Group made its mark with the concept of Lighting Systems Integration. Among its high-profile projects are three Mirage Resorts hotels and the Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas, the renovation of the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the ABC/Disney Good Morning America Studios in Times Square, as well as seven NBC Studio projects at Rockefeller Center.

PRG CEO Jere Harris commented: "We greatly appreciate the contribution that Steve has made to the success of the PRG organization over the past three years. His skills and talent will be missed. However, ETC has been, and will continue to be, a key vendor for us. We are confident that Steve’s expertise will continue to be a resource to PRG. We clearly view this as a win/win situation."

Industry veteran Bill Groener will become the Northeast Regional VP for the PRG companies and will assume responsibility for lighting and audio rentals, large format projection (rentals and sales) and all permanent installation projects. Groener has been with PRG since 1998 and brings extensive experience from his prior roles with Disney, Strand and Barbizon.

Said Groener, "Steve Terry is a personal friend and an icon in our industry, and, while his presence will be sorely missed, Fourth Phase Systems Group will continue to focus our efforts on ever higher levels of customer service and support. We will work closely with our most important suppliers to provide an extremely high level of client satisfaction."
