Stagecraft Industries Announces Personnel Changes

Portland, OR-based Stagecraft Industries, a manufacturer of stage rigging and electrical equipment since 1960, has announced changes within its sales department and the appointment of an industry veteran to its sales staff.

Mike Hyde has been appointed sales manager for rigging and drapery products. His recent projects include digitally controlled motorized rigging for the Washington State Convention Center and motorized studio lighting grids for ABC's Glendale, CA, studios. He will head a department of experienced estimators and will be responsible for negotiating design/build projects involving custom motorized rigging and controls. Ted Ross has been appointed sales manager for lighting products. He has 25 years of experience with lighting for theatre, film, and television. For the last seven years, he has managed Stagecraft's Seattle branch and coordinated bidding of lighting systems in the Pacific Northwest. His new responsibilities will include developing national markets for Stagecraft-manufactured UL1008 transfer cabinets, company switches, and custom distribution devices. Ed Warner has joined Stagecraft as key account representative for lighting products. He was previously quotations manager for Entertainment Technology, a division of Genlyte Thomas. With over 20 years of sales experience in dimming and controls, he will be concentrating on consultants, key projects, and lighting packages for system integration.
