Staff Promotions at Columbus McKinnon

Columbus McKinnon has announced that Don Dimitroff has been appointed to the newly created position of entertainment sales manager in North America. In this new position, Dimitroff will be responsible for sales and support of the complete line of entertainment hoists, rigging products, and accessories. Additionally, he will conduct CM Motor Schools, hands-on seminars designed to familiarize workers with the proper techniques for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing CM Hoists. Dimitroff joined Columbus McKinnon as customer service representative in 1996 and since then has held numerous titles within the organization. Most recently, he was a customer service supervisor while simultaneously handling a variety of duties on the entertainment side of the business.

Adrian Forbes-Black has been named the CM regional manager for Europe; he will be responsible for the development and support of a structured distribution network for Columbus McKinnon’s hoists, chains, chain attachments, and related products in the European markets. He will also be supporting three entertainment master distributors in the region. Before coming to Columbus McKinnon, Forbes-Black had worked 10 years in sales and distribution with Tomcat UK Ltd., Total Fabrications Ltd., and Light & Sound Design Ltd. During the last five years, he served as the General Manager of Tomcat UK, overseeing all aspects of the operation.

Stuart Pattison has been promoted to CM regional manager for Asia; he will be responsible for the marketing and sales of Columbus McKinnon’s hoists, chains, chain attachments and related products in the Asian markets, including New Zealand and Australia. Pattison joined Columbus McKinnon in 1989 as a Territory Manager in Northern California and Nevada, before relocating to New York where he was first Sales and Products Manager for Conco Manipulators and later for LodeRail enclosed tracks and cranes. Before coming to Columbus McKinnon, Pattison had worked 16 years for a California industrial hardware distributor.
