Lex Products has hired Steve Smith as business unit manager, stage and studio installation products.
Smith's responsibilities are to oversee and develop Lex's permanently installed product lines, specifically the PowerGATE Company Switch and the PowerPLUS Connector Strip product lines. He will work with specifiers, dealers, and users to make sure Lex is offering the types of products that the market needs, as well as developing new product offerings. Smith is also responsible for ensuring timely delivery of products and exceeding customer expectations.
“Setting up a business unit solely dedicated to these products makes sense,” said Smith. “In recent years, Lex has been investing in their connector strip and company switch lines both in product development and enhancements, as well as in overall product aesthetics. Their recent purchase of a metal processing plant here in Stamford, CT, means that personalizing these products for customers, with their name, logo, etc. is now a reality. I think a lot of companies--specifiers, architects, and theatre owners alike--will really appreciate the high quality and artistic work coming out of Lex."
