The best thing about The Violet Hour is the theatre housing it. Cheers to Manhattan Theatre Club for its renovation of the old Biltmore on 47th Street, a lost Broadway house that closed in the 80s after hosting a series of flops like Doonesbury, Honky Tonk Nights and A Woman of Independent Means.
