Robe In the Ring with Circuit Lighting

New Jersey-based Circuit Lighting, Inc. recently supplied Robe moving lights to a series of high-profile televised sporting events, including the June 11th Mike Tyson vs. Kevin McBride Showtime Championship Boxing event at the MCI Center in Washington DC. The historical match saw former heavyweight champion Tyson move further into retirement after a stunning loss to McBride by the seventh round.

Longstanding Circuit client Gatto & Associates designed the lighting, which utilized 18 Robe ColorWash 1200E ATs (with electronic ballast), four Robe ColorSpot 1200E ATs, and 180 ETC Source Four PARs to outline the ring. An Avolites Pearl 2004 console controlled the lighting.

Since November 2004, Circuit Lighting exclusively has carried the full line of Robe automated fixtures. The company has completed the first phase of its inventory overhaul, replacing all existing automated fixtures in the rental and production department with Robe ColorSpot and ColorWash 1200 ATs and E ATs, and Robe ColorSpot and ColorWash 575 ATs and E ATs.

“The great service from Robe and facilities like 24-hour technical support really underline client confidence about bringing a new brand onboard,” comments Circuit president Richard E. Tilley.

Other recent Circuit/Robe events have included the JUMP Broadway Finale (LD Mirash Lekaj) and an event for the Cultural Association of Bengal (Lloyd Reynolds/Luciano Savedra), both in New York.
