Rigging Technologies Team Earns High IRATA Certification

Rigging Technologies Inc., a full-service production rigging and rope access company in Las Vegas, announced partners Simon Peck, Steve Enger and Dan Kruleski along with team members Russ Ricketts, Ryan Wolf and Jerry Handren recently earned the highest level of certification–Level III–from the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA).

Recognized internationally as the leader in safety standards, it’s estimated that only 100 people in the United States hold a Level III certification from IRATA. Rigging Technologies production riggers underwent a week of rigorous training in various rope access methods and demonstrated their ability to perform double rope system techniques in a safe and professional manner under conditions that include harsh environments and high angle rescue situations.

"Productions continue to grow with respect to weight and moving parts, so it’s imperative that the rigging department evolve and become highly skilled in order to execute plans while upholding stringent safety standards," says Simon Peck, vice president of Rigging Technologies. "Applied in a production rigging environment, rope access opens doors for Rigging Technologies to access and utilize more remote areas of buildings and to design the most effective rigging systems for a production."

Rig Tech offers production rigging services, such as site surveys, drafting, project management and complete rigging gear rental packages as well as rope access consultation and training.
