Doubt and Monty Python's Spamalot were the big winners as the Outer Critics Circle announced their annual awards, honoring New York theatre. La Cage aux Folles and The Light in the Piazza also scored two honors each.
Winners of the 55th annual honors will be presneted their awards at a ceremony at Sardi's Restaurant, May 26. The awards are decided upon by an group of writers covering New York theatre for out-of town newspapers, national publications, and other media beyond Broadway.
