Osram Sylvania Division Achieves ISO Certification

Osram Sylvania

has announced that its Electronic Control Systems Division Quality Management System has been successfully certified as compliant with the International Standard ISO9001:2000. A six-day audit conducted at the division's headquarters in Lake Zurich, IL, plus facilities in Danvers and Beverly, MA, and New Delhi, India, confirmed evidence supporting the existence of a documented and implemented quality system. Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI) was chosen by Osram Sylvania as the partner in this process.

"This achievement was a direct result of the entire organization working together in effectively developing and maintaining the Quality System in order to be registered. Meeting the ever-growing customer demand for the highest level of quality is vital to our success," said Alan Weiss, vice president and general manager. "Electronic Control Systems has demonstrated its commitment to quality by continuously improving our management system and working daily to perform to quality objectives and receiving this registration."
