OmniMount Systems, Inc. has been acquired by the Linear Corporation of Carlsbad California, a subsidiary of Nortek, Inc.
OmniMounts Systems is a leading designer and supplier of mounting solutions for the audio/video industry, including both residential and commercial applications. Linear, a worldwide supplier of products for the residential security and control industry also owns the ELAN Home Systems, Xantech, ChannelPlus, and Speakercraft brands of products.

OmniMount Systems was established in 1978, with the introduction of their unique, patented loudspeaker mounting system called the OmniMount. Since then, the company’s offerings have expanded considerably, and now include flat panel mounting systems, speaker stands, audio/video furniture, CRT mounting systems, as well as a host of mounting products for the professional audio industry.
