Nexo Restructures Operations

Nexo, the France-based loudspeaker manufacturer, is restructuring its international sales team following the departure of Mick Anderson, sales director of the company. Anderson recently announced that he will be leaving the company after six years at the end of September. This news comes on the heels of the departure of Jim Sides from Nexo USA to Meyer Sound.

Following Anderson's departure, Nexo will close its UK office. All international sales will be centralized through one department at the factory in Paris, under the guidance of Denis Baudier who, after nearly 10 years with the company, will be promoted to sales director.

Anderson joined Nexo in 1995, and, since that time, has been a key member of the management team that has doubled the company's turnover, established the subsidiary in the USA, introduced two of its sound reinforcement lines (Alpha and Geo), and groomed a distribution network in more than 50 countries.

"All the initiatives and programs that Mick has put in place will continue," says managing director Mickey Johnson, who adds he is confident that the restructuring of Nexo will bring considerable benefits to its international partners. "Our distributors will all feel the benefits of centralisation, of having the export sales department next door to the factory and to the dedicated distributor support team."
