New Role For Sager At QSC

Jon Sager has been appointed as the new manager of installed sound for QSC, the Costa Mesa, CA-based audio manufacturer. Now responsible for lending direction to contracting and all other fixed application sales across the US, Sager steps up to the position following his predecessor Greg McLagan.

"Greg's will be a tough act to follow," Sager says. "He did a tremendous job building the market and providing our customers with the support they need. As far as my own plans are concerned, promising business as usual sets the bar fairly high right from the start."

Sager joined QSC in November of 2002. Prior to that, he spent six years with EAW, most recently as the company's director of market development for installed sound products. He also served as director of strategic products for Mark IV Audio.

Sager will be closely involved in the introduction of QSC's next generation of DSP-based products, including the new QSControl.net network audio system. Integrating QSC's signal transport, control, processing, and monitoring technologies within a single, unified platform, QSControl.net is currently in its final stages of development in preparation for meeting an as of yet unannounced shipping date.
