new LVP1950F 19mm light emitting diode (LED) pixel pitch video display panels are ideal for large-size outdoor applications, and the first screens are already in use at the Amsterdam Arena and debuted at the Singapore National Day festivities on August 9th.

"The LVP1950F was designed to meet the growing need for an outdoor video display that allows for temporary use and frequent mobility," said Lighthouse managing director Mark Chan. "The use of these screens in Holland and Singapore prove that it is the ideal technology to display video and animation during the day to large crowds."

The LVP1950F provides color reproduction, 14-bit technology and M4 uniformity control. The screen’s lightweight panels make it easy for quick installation and break down. Other features of the LVP1950F include 2,757-per-m2 pixel density, 60-frame-per-second frame rate, 270W/m2 power consumption (40 percent of maximum), and data input for NTSC, PAL, XGA, RGB HV, RGB S, YUV, YC, CVBS, SDI, DVI (HDTV and HDSDI optional).

The new 19mm product adds to Lighthouse's line of LED screens and panels for both indoor and outdoor use. This year, 80 Lighthouse LVP25 panels were installed in the newly constructed San Diego Padre's PETCO ball park to create a state-of-the-art outdoor video display for sports fans. Other notable installations include Piccadilly Circus in London, Seahawk Stadium in Seattle, and Hong Kong International Airport. Lighthouse screens are also featured in live performances by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sting, and in the Queen musical We Will Rock You.
