Miss South Africa Teen 2001 contestants recently paraded across the stage and catwalks under a rig dominated by High End Systems automated luminaires. The pageant was held at Carnival City in South Africa and broadcast live on South African Broadcasting Corporation’s (SABC) Channel 1.
SABC LD Andre Rossouw specified 93 moving lights, 250 Par cans, 50 5Kw fresnels, and 12 5Kw scrollers, all supplied by Upstage Lighting in South Africa. The High End Systems automated luminaires included a variety of Cyberlights, Studio Colors, Studio Spots, Technobeams, and Intellabeams, all were controlled by a Status Cue® console.
