4Wall Entertainment-West announced the addition of Todd Mertzel as vice president of business development. Mertzel will be involved with rentals, sales, and 4Wall's new labor division.
Mertzel, who was most recently the general manager at VLPS Las Vegas, has worked in the lighting industry since 1989. He began his career with then Vari-Lite as a technician/programmer and worked his way up through the ranks, holding various management positions. He has experience in virtually every aspect of the entertainment lighting industry including production and logistics, technical services, and sales/rentals.
"With his extensive experience and likeable personality, he could have chosen to go anywhere, so we are truly honored that Todd has chosen to join 4Wall Entertainment.
