Meet Don Holder

Lighting designer Donald Holder is once again participating in the Broadway Lighting Master Classes, June 25-29, in New York City. Holder's current Broadway shows include Movin' Out, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Lion King, for which he won the 1998 Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Awards, and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom. Upcoming shows include Little Shop of Horrors and The Boy From Oz.

Off Broadway he is currently represented by: Polish Joke, at Manhattan Theatre Club and Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme at Lincoln Center. Other recent credits include King Hedley II, Juan Darien (Tony and Drama Desk nominations), The Green Bird, Bells Are Ringing, Hughie, Holiday, and Eastern Standard. Other Off Broadway credits include: A Man of No Importance, Chaucer in Rome, Everett Beekin, Jitney, Tiny Alice, Saturday Night, and many others.
