Mike Case New US Western Regional Sales Manager for Martin Architectural

Martin Architectural announces the hiring of Mike Case as Western regional sales manager for the US market. He comes to Martin Architectural from Pro Sound and Stage Lighting where he was also involved in sales.

Case, who assumed the new position in September, has extensive experience in working with lighting reps and is busy building a network of lighting specifiers and manufacturer representatives for Martin’s growing architectural division. He states, “I am happy to be a part of one of the industry’s up and coming architectural lighting divisions and look forward to the challenges ahead. As a previous Martin dealer, I have first hand knowledge of Martin’s product line and have been impressed with the rapid developments in the architectural range.”

Martin’s West coast branch manager, Frank Montero, comments, “Bringing Mike on board is a key step in our continuing segmentation and move into the growing architectural lighting segment. Mike has been in the lighting industry for a long time and is a familiar face in both the entertainment and architectural lighting segments, which is a benefit to both us and our clients. He has a good reputation among specifiers in the industry and knows the different approach it takes when communicating with architectural specifiers. He knows Martin well, relates well to clients and knows their needs.”

Case’s lighting background includes four years at Lithonia Lighting as Western regional manager for Lighting Controls and thirteen years with Premier Lighting as vice president of Sales. He is based at Martin’s West coast office in Simi Valley, California.

Martin Tanzarelli New Technical Service Manager at Martin US West Coast Office

After several years of independent work in the lighting industry, Martin Tanzarelli has returned to Martin Professional, Inc. as Technical Service manager at the US subsidiary's West coast office in Simi Valley, California.

Bringing with him over ten years of valuable experience in the lighting industry, Tanzarelli's main responsibility includes technical service issues in a high profile market rich with top TV shows and tours. His extensive experience includes four years working in Vari-Lite's Field Service Department, servicing tours like the Rolling Stones and Aerosmith.

Martin's West coast branch manager, Frank Montero, comments on the new hiring, "Martin is a real diamond in the rough and we are very happy to have him on board. Technically he is just brilliant and his extensive service experience will help to raise our level of service even further. Martin is well known in the lighting industry. Originally from Argentina, Martin broke into the industry in 1992 with Light and Sound Design Inc. before working for Vari-lite Inc. He then worked at Martin Professional, Inc. from 1999-2000 and assumed his new position in August 2003.
