LVH Renovates Bakersfield’s Historic Harvey Auditorium

LVH Entertainment Systems

has been awarded a major contract for the renovation project at the historic Harvey Auditorium Theatre at Bakersfield High School in Bakersfield, California. The project will include the compete replacement of the original theatrical rigging systems, expansion and updating of the theatrical lighting control systems, and replacement of the architectural lighting for the main theatre and the adjacent little theatre. LVH is working closely with the project architect, Nancy Renfro of Renfro and Elliot Architects of Bakersfield, to coordinate the work.

The original construction of the theatres began before World War II, was delayed and then completed after the war. The theatres have been in continuous use for community events, theatrical productions, and school functions since then.
