The Live Design Master Classes bring their acclaimed brand of professional training in sound, lighting, and projection to New York City, May 22-27, 2010. Legendary sound designer Abe Jacob and Tony Award-winning lighting designer Jules Fisher are once again onboard as the creative consultants for the BSMC and BLMC respectively.
The dates for the Live Design Master Classes are as follows:
Broadway Sound Master Classes (BSMC): May 22-23, Saturday and Sunday
Broadway Projection Master Classes (BPMC): May 24, Monday
Broadway Lighting Master Classes (BLMC): May 25-27, Tuesday-Thursday,
All attendees will see a live performance followed by a Q&A in the theatre and an in-depth critique as part of the classes. In addition, leading manufacturers of entertainment technology will participate in the annual manufacturers showcases, offering attendees the opportunity to see the latest in cutting-edge sound technology. Venues for each of the classes will be announced early in 2010, as well as details about low-cost housing in modern NYU dorm rooms.
