Lightolier Announces Lighting Systems Technology Seminar

Lightolier will host a seminar on LST (Lighting System Technology) for Educational Facilities in February. This seminar will take an in-depth look at the ways new lighting technology can increase efficiency and enhance design in school spaces. It is scheduled to take place at Lightolier’s Fall River, MA. headquarters from February 10-12, and is accredited by both the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the American Lighting Association (ALA).

This curriculum will focus on the rationale for selecting a particular luminaire system to meet the application needs of educational facilities. Different lighting options for classrooms, laboratories, cafeterias, auditoriums, gymnasiums and other educational facilities will be examined. Within these various settings, attendees will study how the quantity and quality of illumination can affect overall productivity for both students and teachers. Just as important, economic concerns will also be taken into account, by discussing and demonstrating how energy efficient lighting systems can have a positive impact on a school’s cost of light.

The seminar will be held at the Lightolier TechCenter, located in Fall River, MA. There is a $250 registration fee for each seminar. For more information or to register, contact Earl R. Print, LC, Director of Sales Development & Lighting Education at Lightolier. He can be contacted by mail at 631 Airport Road, Fall River, MA 02720.
