Lighthouse Technologies Limited announced an expansion of its American operations in a move aimed at meeting emerging business opportunities in the evolving large-screen LED display marketplace.
The company has opened new U.S. headquarters in San Jose, CA, and plans to open east coast operations later this year to capitalize on expanding opportunities in the entertainment, audio/visual, and government markets. Lighthouse Technologies is also expanding its distribution facility in Valencia.
Michael Redmond, a long-time display industry executive, was appointed Vice President of sales and will oversee an expanded sales organization responsible for developing North American and South American (NASA) business. He brings more than 25 years' sales and marketing experience to Lighthouse Technologies and was previously in senior positions with AirZip, Airspeak, View Tech, Barco, Kronos, and Piaggio.
Michael Durden was named U.S. National Sales Manager who was previously Airspeak's national sales manager. Redmond and Durden will be based in the company's new NASA headquarters in San Jose.
One of the world's leading manufacturers of LED screens, Lighthouse Technologies is currently supplying end-users in a broad range of industries including financial services, sports and entertainment.
The company is also stepping up its partnership with its resellers and plans to expand this network of business partners in both North and South America to strengthen its operations with current and new end-users and business partners within the NASA region, which is targeted for significant growth in 2004.
