Lightfair International 2002 expands into two exhibit halls

Due to industry growth and exhibitor demand, Lightfair International 2002 (LFI) has expanded into two separate exhibit areas (Exhibit Halls A, B, C, and the Gateway Ballroom) at Moscone Convention Center South in San Francisco, CA. Both exhibit areas will be filled with the latest products and technology the architectural and commercial lighting industry has to offer. Pre-conference workshops will be held Sunday, June 2, 2002; the trade show and conference will take place Monday, June 3, to Wednesday, June 5, 2002.

With additional exhibits in the Gateway Ballroom, a total of four halls will feature many first-time domestic and international exhibitors, along with the many prestigious companies returning to the event. Product categories will include: Commercial Lighting, Components, Controls, Decorative & Custom Fixtures, Emergency Lighting, Industrial Lighting, Lamps & Ballasts, Outdoor Lighting, Recessed Lighting, Retail Lighting, Specialty Fixtures & Equipment, and Theatrical & Entertainment Lighting.

This will be the largest San Francisco event with over 400 exhibiting companies occupying approximately 1,150 booths in Halls A, B, C, and the Gateway Ballroom, with an expected attendance of over 17,000 architectural, engineering, design, and end-user professionals from around the world.

Lightfair International is sponsored by the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA).
