Lightfair International 2002 conference acquires IFMA accreditation

Lightfair International 2002 will take place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco June 2-5. This year, for the first time, the Lightfair conference will provide International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Certification Maintenance points. Each three-hour workshop will equal 3 Certification Maintenance points and each one-and-a-half-hour seminar will equal 1.5 Certification Maintenance points.

In addition to IFMA accreditation, the Lightfair education program is also authorized for continuing education credit in these associations: The American Institute of Architects (AIA), which will also grant Health Safety and Welfare (HSW) credit; and the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North American (IESNA) will grant CEU credits. In addition, the program is registered with the National Council or Qualifications for the lighting Professions (NCQLP) for LEU credit.
