Leviton's Hendler Named Among 50 Most Vital Influencers in Custom Consumer Electronics

Ian Hendler, director of business development for Leviton Integrated Networks, was recently named by Custom Retailer magazine as one of the 50 most vital influencers in the custom consumer electronics industry. In its first annual "C-Business 50: A Tribute to the Movers and Shakers of the Custom Industries," Custom Retailer identified 50 of the industry’s leading personalities and companies that are shaping the custom consumer electronics market, and described how each has contributed to its evolution.

The 50 honorees named in the C-Business 50 were selected in various classifications through discussions with industry organizations like the CEA (Consumer Electronics Association), CEDIA (Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association), PARA (Professional Audio and Video Retailers Association), and MERA (Mobile Electronics Retail Association) as well as Custom Retailer’s own editorial advisory board. Hendler was honored as a technologist who has advanced the industry through technological contributions.

Hendler is a member of CEA’s tech home division, a lecturer at various industry functions, and recently was a contributor to Wiley Publishing’s Smart Homes for Dummies. He began his career in Leviton’s voice and data division where he was responsible for evaluating market channel opportunities and leveraging technology to increase sales in the commercial and residential structured wiring markets.
