Kathleen Ankers, the veteran Emmy-winning designer of sets for such popular talk shows as The Rosie O'Donnell Show, Late Night with David Letterman, Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Tom Snyder, and The Late Late Show with Craig Kilbron, died October 24 of lung cancer. Ankers, who in addition to designing sets for Letterman, sometimes appeared in skits on his shows, was 82.
