Guy Lejune has been appointed managing director of Meyer Sound Benelux. Lejune will coordinate sales and marketing efforts for Meyer products in the geographical area of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. The office was established in January of 1999 to serve expanding technical and sales needs of the European market. Lejune replaces Raymond Defossez, who left to pursue other interests.
Lejune’s association with Meyer Sound dates to 1984 when, as a mix engineer, he used one of the first MSL-3/650-R2 systems in Belgium. He then became familiar with other products from Meyer. Lejune says of that time, "With Meyer Sound equipment, I could do jobs in all kinds of situations that I wasn’t able to do previously. I’m very excited to now work with Meyer Sound and represent their products in the Benelux region."
Meyer Benelux manages the distribution and promotion of Meyer products for the region as well as providing customer service. The Benelux office offers full factory services, including worldwide warranty support, system design and technical support.
