L-Acoustics Presents Rep Awards

L-Acoustics US recently awarded several of its independent representative firms for outstanding service during the 2006 calendar year. Paul Freudenberg, L-Acoustics vice president of sales and marketing, made the announcement and presented the awards.

Pros, Inc. of Vancouver, WA took top honors by receiving L-Acoustics’ Rep of the Year’award. According to Freudenberg, “Steve Armstrong of Pros has had to deal with a detached retina, which is certainly a challenging health crisis, and yet he still completely stunned us in terms of his exceptional sales performance and customer support last year. In our opinion, he is an absolute rock star in the world of pro audio and we’re elated to name him as our Rep of the Year for 2006.”

L-Acoustics ‘ “Le Grand Poisson” (French for “The Big Fish”) award went to Clinton Muntean and Doug Lettsome of Melbourne, FL-based Mainline Marketing. “Typically, this award recognizes a huge project that that shows up and seems to just ‘land in the boat’,” says Freudenberg. “But to Mainline’s credit, this year’s award, which recognized our dV-DOSC install at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, was really the result of a lot of hard work, both internally and externally, and we are most grateful to them for it.”

Furthermore, awards for Outstanding Sales Achievement were presented to R. Joseph Group (Rob Joseph), Champion Enterprises (Paul Tillman), Western Audio (Mike Klickstein and Dave Weidenhoffer), and Warman Marketing (Harry Warman), while L-Acoustics‘ Most Improved Territory award went to Pro Media Marketing
(Donn Nelson).

Freudenberg adds, “Each of these firms went well beyond our expectations and have undoubtedly contributed to the phenomenal success that L-Acoustics now enjoys here in the US. In recognition of their efforts and accomplishments, we offer them our sincerest appreciation and look forward to yet another banner year together throughout 2007.”
