InfoComm Projection Summit Offers Exhibitor Opportunities

Projection Summit will kick off InfoComm for a third consecutive year with a variety of top-level sessions targeting decision makers from the display industry, projection supply chain and ProAV dealer and system integrator communities. In addition, the conference will feature a small exhibition area to showcase technology in an environment that will foster quality interaction.

"Besides the high-value presentation and debate sessions, one of the best parts of the Projection Summit is the exhibition," notes Chris Chinnock, president of Insight Media, the co-organizer of the Summit. "In the past we have had some very cool leading edge technology showcased at the conference. This is a great opportunity to introduce technology to the top industry movers and shakers in an unhurried, informal environment."

Chuck McLaughlin, president of McLaughlin Consulting Group, the other co-organizer of the conference echoed this sentiment. "The exhibition, which is held during an informal reception on June 7 and 8, has been well attended in previous years. I know exhibitors have been very happy with the connections they have made here."

The exhibitor package is a modest $1,000 and includes a 10 x 10 foot booth with basic pipe and drape and a company sign. Exhibitors can also attend the full Projection Summit conference. By becoming an exhibiting company, all attendees from the company can register to attend Projection Summit at a 20% discount.

"Between the new business you might generate with a booth at Projection Summit and the discounted registration (save over $200 per attendee), we think this is a pretty good deal," said Chinnock. "In addition, attendees will receive thousands of dollars worth of market, technology and business intelligence at the Projection Summit conference."

The Summit is organized into two tracks of sessions. The Market/Channel track will focus on opportunities in education, digital signage, AV/IT convergence, crossovers and channel change and big-screen display competition. The Technology/Supply Chain track focuses on the latest improvements and breakthroughs in microdisplays, lamps, electronics, optics and supply chain management.

The keynote speakers will offer an interesting difference in perspectives: Allen Alley, CEO of Pixelworks and Kyle Ranson, current President and COO of InFocus.

Capping the conference is the "Analysts Debate" session, which brings together the top big screen market analysts to present and defend their forecasts for big screen professional and consumer markets. Firms represented here include Pacific Media Associates, iSuppli/Stanford Resources, Techno Systems Research, Decision Tree Consulting, IDC and DisplaySearch.
