InfoComm Information Resources Releases iQ Online

InfoComm Information Resources, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the International Communications Industries Association, Inc.(ICIA), unveiled its newest service, InfoComm iQ Online, at ICIA’s InfoComm 2002 tradeshow in Las Vegas June 9-14. The online catalog of professional audiovisual, audio and video products will be accessible from ICIA’s web portal at www.infocomm.org.

InfoComm iQ Online provides the viewer with the ability to search the database of products either by manufacturer or by product category, allowing users to determine the best way to find the products they are looking for. The ability to search by category makes it easy for anyone to find what products are available in the marketplace. Additionally, participating manufacturers have the ability to provide articles and other content along with their product information, enhancing the value of the viewing experience.

“We’re excited to offer this new service to the public through our web portal,” says Randal Lemke, ICIA’s executive director. “We believe it will extend the exposure our exhibitors receive at our tradeshow throughout the year and create a valuable resource for those seeking more information about products supplied by our industry.”

The catalog will enable the viewer to request additional information from the manufacturer via e-mail. Through the catalog, the viewer will find contact information for the manufacturer, as well as a link to the manufacturer’s website.

InfoComm Information Resources provides a wide range of content management and delivery services through its InfoComm iQ product set. These services are targeted at increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of delivering product, marketing, and technical information from the manufacturer to the distribution channel and on to the end user.
