Illuminating Engineering Society Names New President

The Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) has elected Pamela K. Horner President. Horner has served in numerous positions with the IESNA, both as a member of the Board of Directors and in positions of regional leadership. Currently, she is the manager of General Lighting education at Osram Sylvania and is based at the headquarters in Danvers, Massachusetts. She is responsible for the operations of the company’s educational facilities, known as Lightpoint®, which are based in Danvers and Westfield, Indiana.

When Horner joined Osram in 1996, she worked as a commercial engineer. Prior to that, she was the manager of outreach education at the Lighting Research Center in Troy, New York, and a principal of two Texas-based lighting sales agencies, Focus Lighting and First Electric.
